Self-reclamation is healing.
With the images of womanhood that are carved in our collective and a shared wounded feminine history, often times women find themselves with a profound disconnection between their conscious and unconscious desires and goals. But the good news is that you are allowed to shed your identity and create a new one!
You can reclaim the parts that have been deeply wounded, even if it was by other women, and start the process of healing, to show up in the world being who YOU want to be. Self-reclamation is brave work, our mothers didn't get a chance to do this, we are the front runners, so sharing the process can be really inspiring, and that's what you will find in this conversation.
A new womanhood
What you do for your soul and your healing is bigger than you. It begins in your heart and impacts the collective because we are connected to all women. When we understand this, we know it is safe to let other women do their own work, because together we are creating a new kind of womanhood, where each of us gets to embody their soul's purpose.
"Step into our future self, the woman that we decide we are becoming. It doesn't matter what happened in the past, it doesn't matter our history or what we carry from our ancestors, we are conscious beings and we get to decide in this present moment who we want to become" [35:05]
“Coming home to yourself is about learning to trust what lights you up and letting other women be on that journey too. We don’t need to police each other, you can absolutely trust another woman with her journey of coming home to herself and what lights her up ” [49:40]
"When you are connected to your soul and what she is here for, like, it doesn't matter what anyone says, there is such clarity and confidence that comes through that" [54:23]
